Anyone hoping to take part in the Guide Dogs Tour of Berkshire has just 24 hours left to register before entries close on Tuesday 31st March. Only a handful of spaces remain for the event, which takes place on 12th April 2015.

The event, now in its second year, is based from the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association head office near Reading. Organisers Dengie Events have already seen an increase in the number of entrants for this year, and hope to raise even more funds for Guide Dogs.

The three distance options available are:

- 41.5km - Fun Ride
- 84km - Classic Ride
- 125km - Epic Ride

The course was widely praised last year and takes cyclists through the beautiful Berkshire countryside - a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Riders pass through the traditional villages of West Berkshire, negotiate a selection of short, punchy climbs and experience the stunning scenery and quiet country lanes of the Royal County of Berkshire.

Newbury based cycle shop, BikeLux will be providing on course mechanical support to cyclists, Herbalife are kindly providing all of the event nutrition and Shield Cover will be on hand to explain their Vitality life insurance solutions.

The event is fully chip timed and signed, with marshals on course too. Everyone is welcome from complete beginners through to experienced sportive riders.
