Wheatsheaf Inn, Beetham
The Wheatsheaf has been welcoming guests since 1609. Initially a farmhouse, the lady of the house provided meals to local farm labourers and the tradition of becoming a local hostelry grew from that time. Later, the Wheatsheaf became a coaching stop en route from Lancaster to Carlisle.
The Plantation Cottage, Sandside
A welcoming, picturesque oak-beamed cottage set in scenic location in the heart of Arnside / Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Convenient for RSPB reserve, Lakes and Dales.

No 43, Arnside
Number 43 was awarded Best Bed & Breakfast in England 2011 by Visit England. The position here is fabulous: a vast sky, a pretty village, the Kent estuary spilling into Morcambe Bay. Huge views shoot off to the Lake District, where distant peaks take to the skies. You're at the end of the road, more likely to be disturbed by commuting birds than a car, so sit on the terrace and watch the train puff across the viaduct or follow a flock of geese as they sweep through the valley. As for Number 43, interiors shine after a total renovation. You get glossy books and great views in the sitting room, then an honesty bar in the dining room, where delicious communal breakfasts set you up for the day: freshly squeezed orange juice, baskets of patisserie, porridge with honey and sugar, the full Cumbrian works.
Crooklands Hotel
The Crooklands 3 star Hotel Bar & Restaurant, is situated in a peaceful rural location just a four miles south of the market town of Kendal, one mile South of the M6 Junction 36 on the A65 old route to Kendal and the Lake District National Park visit Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales from our superb location.
