Despite typical Polocini weather, another well-organised and friendly event. If I was being picky, the feed stop could have done with being before Swiss Hill, but it wasn't so far past that as to cause problems. Check out a Polocini event. You won't regret it.

An absolutely fantastic event, the second time i have done a polocini & both times i have left the event with a grin on my face! The organisers are extremely friendly & have an obvious passion for cycling.Upon check in you are given your number & all the nutritional goodies you could need to get you through the ride & also a free CNP water bottle to keep. The feed stop was situated in a village hall & resembled a corner shop there was so much choice & hot tea/coffee to order! once back at the HQ you are handed a recovery shake & once again treated to hot tea & coffee, there was also a choice of 3 freshly prepared meals & a table of cake!! On hand there was a sports therapist offering leg massages & a cycle coach offering advice to antone who sought it.

The overall relaxed approach gained by capping the rider numbers at 300 is of mass appeal to me & is something that will keep me coming back!

Fantastic pre, during and post ride food. Possibly the best I've seen at a sportive! Superb friendly organisation and support that seems to be lacking at other events.

Even the weather couldn't dampen this one, great fun all the way with lots of good fun & banter between the riders. The sausage & mash at the end was amazing & the porridge at the start a Godsend. Came back with more CNP stuff than I started with........bargain :) Great ride,Great people,Great fun!!
