Very friendly and a great route. A good day out in spite of the weather. A good early season test. I hope to be back next year.

Well organised. Quality food available from the whole food co-op sponsor Infinity Foods. On a different planet to the white bread, margarine and a slice of processed ham sandwich type of food you sometimes get on other sportives.
Excellent, varied route.

First sportive and what a way to start (weather was so cold and wet).
Great day and so well organised from start to finish.
Will be back next year Thank you to all.

OK, it rained hard and the wind blew for the duration of the ride, but that's what you get when you enter a Sportive in the first week of March.

But overall the Puncheur is a great route, rolling and fast with the Ditchling Beacon climb at the end. It was also run by a super friendly and enthusiastic team with a great bowl of pasta at the end.

Only grumble were that the facilities were a little rudimentary though. But that was probably exaggerated by the weather.

Overall, I can't wait to ride it again on a sunny, dry day!

Loved the ride, the easterly made it a struggle at times but the route was great, iIf only the Beacon could be closed for the morning. Organisation and friendliness of everyone was spot on and would love to try again next year.

Tough early season route with a sting in the tail at Ditchling Beacon. Excellent organisation and very freindly team on the day. Route is well designed to avoid traffic issues.

A really good early season ride that lived up to high expectations. I will certainly do the Puncheur again. I particlarly liked the use of TWITTER and the extremely quick availability of the results.

Great event - minor quibbles 1) that feed stop could have done with something savoury and 2) the turn signs were too small to read from any distance (a couple of warning signs leading up to sharp turns after fast, flat sections might also have been good). But those are minor quibbles...

Very smoothly operated. Excellent course, but don't be fooled by the description....this is still hilly! Medal times mark this out as a more 'serious' event, but don't be put off as it is very sociable and friendly.

Superbly run event, small friendly and a challenge this early in the year. Can't be faulted. Ditchling Beacon at the end is a real sting in the tail. Love it.

Really enjoyed Puncheur at the weekend, great idea having Infinity Food available at the start (it was cold and porridge went down well). Good flowing course just as described by the organisers and as challenging as you wanted it to be. Liked the post ride food available and general friendliness of everyone involved from timing chip guy at the top of the beacon to the people signing us on at the start - thanks to all - would def recommend, although next time please not so cold!

First time at the Puncheur. Great little event. Fab organisation and pre-event comms. Great idea to link up with local cafe to provide healthy food at the start, the feed station and the end. Freezing cold day, but great event all the same. I'll be back next year.

Great organisation before and during the event, friendly and helpful team. Just one comment re the signage - orange/black doesn't always work for red-green colour blind people like me, especially in the bright sunlight (I know that's not guaranteed!) - blue/white or yellow/white yellow/black would be much more visible. Hope to be back next year and improve from bronze to silver (at least)!
