Excellent trip with some breathtaking scenery. Extremely nicely organized by a friendly local group that knows every route in the region like the back of their hand. The nice lunch at the conclusion of the day in a warm, pleasant hall was well worth the long ride!

A lovely ride along many nice quiet lanes. Enough hills to make it interesting, but not too many to make it hard work. Nice sunny day and excellent catering at the end.

It's an excellently oranganised need for support, sag wagons or outriders!

Lovely friendly organisers.

This is difficult to rate given the criteria and scoring as it appears much more desgined for Sportives rather than Audax rides. For example, the are no SAG wagons or marshals on an Audax. Or 'feed stops' as such, or timings chips. etc etc etc.
However, a MUCH more enjoyable experience than your typical Sportive also. I ride Audax all the time and this is a great example of a good quality, well organised and scenic 300k ride.

A Sunrise to Sunset event for £6, what's not to like? As an audax, it's a self supported ride but for anyone looking for a bigger, longer challenge this is an ideal step up to the dangerous world of endurance cycling.

If you love sportives and want a bit more of a challenge, Audax events are the way to go. This one is outstanding - the route is easy to follow using the gpx file from the organiser and the route is very scenic, avoiding main roads whever possible. The food at the finish was great too. it can be difficult to eat after 12 hours plus on the bike, but there was something to tempt everyone at the finish.

Excellent ride through some stunning countryside. Extremely well organised by a friendly local club who know all the roads in the area backwards. The hot meal at the end in a warm, cosy hall was worth riding all day for!
