A little shorter this year at 65 miles but the cold, rain and especially the wind gusting to over 30mph didnt make it any easier! A New route included Stoke Hill which was long with an early kick but quite manageable. Good signage and clear feed station signs this year. Despite the weather almost double last years finishers. A very well organised popular start to the season. Thanks

Not actually snowing but still cold enough after 5 hours in the saddle! Well signed but odd one obscured and several missed feed station - a warning 250m to feed station perhaps helpful. I big hill had a few walking which was a bit tricky as very narrow track with grassed centre ridge. As advertised no sag wagon. Recommended start to the season.

This was the 5th time I had made the journey from North Devon for this event and is still one of my favorites. The main climb this year was not as much of a challenge but that maybe down to a lack of snow compared to last year or the winter training has gone well. Can't wait till next year. Well done and thanks to the organisers.

A great event, with a reasonably well thought out course that probably provided just the right amount of difficulty this early in the season for most people. Friendly, not to hard on the legs, great feed station and bacon baps at the end - A winning recipe for an early season event. See you next year!

My first time on this event after I was convinced to enter by Jennifer. It was indeed worth signing up for, one I would recommend for sure!
