The Braveheart Ride is a fantastic opportunity for you to contribute directly to the development of Scotland's future cycling champions. All proceeds raised from the event go to up and coming Scottish cycling talent.The Braveheart Fund provides financial assistance to 10 - 15 riders each year enabling them to train and compete at their highest level within the sport.

Saturday 5th November 2011
 
There are two routes on offer - 71km or 32km. 
 
Entry fees - Adults £15.00 (71 or 32 km), Under 16s £8(71 or 32 km)
 
Be prepared for all weather conditions! 

Start Times 

10.30 am   71 km ride, all leisure riders and Under 16s groups of 30 at 2 minute intervals 
10.45 am  32 km ride groups of 30 at 2 minute intervals 
10.50 am  71 km ride Seniors, Pro & Elite groups of 30 at 2 minute intervals 

St Joseph's Academy will be open from 9 am until 4 pm.
 
Directions 
 
From North on A77 Leave A77 at Grassyards Road Exit, signed B7082 Kilmarnock. At the end of the slip road turn right (caution - poor visibility) into Grassyards Road. St Joseph's Academy is a new school on the right-hand-side of the road in less than 1 mile. Follow signs into Car Park and then into Assembly Hall. 

From South, on A77 Leave A77 at Grassyards Road exit signed B7082 Kilmarnock turning left into Grassyards Road. Then as above. 

From East on A71  Follow A71 through Darvel, Newmilns and on to Galston roundabout at junction with A719. Take 2nd exit and continue on A71 to Bellfield Roundabout at A77 take North bound A77 and follow directions from South as above. 

Parental consent forms are required for all riders under 18
