Especially a huge shout out for the marshals and other volunteers, every one of whom were friendly and encouraging and did a great job. It was great to see so many parts of Greater Manchester that I've never visited before.... My legs lie (they tell me they're 24 and can ride 100 miles when I know they're 58 and can't) .... In any case the five mile sign was very welcome coming at the end of the last killer hill. A great day out. Faultless !!

Great team of people organising the event, friendly, food good at great locations. Fundamentally flawed idea... Tour de Manc...clue is in the name. Cant change the fact its like several bad town commutes stuck together in one ride with only brief glimpses of the good stuff in the hills around the city. If you enjoy 35 traffic lights per mile and manic Sunday city drivers, this ones for you. (Iam a Manc so gave it a go, wont do it again, its just not conducive to mass rider cyclosportives)
