Thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a very well organised event.
However, I'm not sure I ride it again with the same exactly course, as although I want to be well away from busy roads, I don't want to cycle farm tracks (exaggeration) either.
I don't ever remember seeing so many punctures.

What a great event. Tea, coffee and biscuits at the start, tons of food at the feed stop and more at the finish. Those doing the organising were well prepared and very friendly. The route was excellent and made for a wonderful morning in the lanes despite the weather. Well done Downland Cycles.

Some friend and I did the Spring sportive here this year too ..... great event.
We arrived not having signed up, WWW said sign up on the day, on arrival told it was full, BUT, they were very accommodating once they realised we'd travel 60 miles to get to this event....REALLY helpful. The route was lovely, Tea/Coffee/Food at the start/Middle and end was much makes such a difference having cheese/ham rolls and hot drinks available, you can OD a bit on sweet stuff, many commented on this. I'll certainly be back next year for the Spring & Autumn sportives ....along with the 5 I was with, pretty much same thing said all around. WELL DONE DOWNLAND!!!

Well organised, well signed and loads of Jaffa Cakes at the feed stop. Rolls, bananas as well as tea and coffee on offer too. There was also a choice of energy drinks that were mixed up to the correct proportions. Route was well signed, with some additional markers on the route to reassure you. The 100mile route took in some great Kentish roads with very little traffic. Will definately come back for the spring or summer ride. Many thanks to the Downland Cycles team

Avoid going too quick the right hand bend 40miles in if you want to avoid a year off cycling. :) Seriously though it is a good ride and my buddies told me I got off lightly missing all the big hills after that point......
