The event was very well organised with loads of food and drinks at the stops and at the end. The route was interesting with a couple of tough climbs towards the end. All in all a good day out.

An excellent event -this was my second year- Plenty of food and drink and friendly staff/marshals. Just a minor criticism was the lack of covered accommodation at the start/finish which could have proved challenging had it rained. The revised course was excellent and the tough steep climb at the end was a good change from the long drag last year-please keep it in as it sorts the men/women from the boys/girls.. The weather was excellent with sun all day with the wind giving the event that "Northern Classic" feel and adding to the sense of satisfaction at the end of a tough day.

Excellent route with a challenging wind on the day. Very friendly, helpful organisers with a real homely feel at the end with homemade cakes and tea!

Not as good as last year. Route a bit different taking in a ridiculously steep hill over a crumbling a stone riddled back lane, couldn't see the point in that. Weather was awful with srtong head wind for the last 3 hours. No marshalls on route that I could see.

Lovely route. The hills seemed to sort the men from the boys near the end. The weather was great apart from a little head wind but thats cycling!!

really enjoyed the ride even though at the first food stop i opted for the shorter route, very friendly and well organised. i personally would have liked an earlier start than 9am (even though i drove 102 miles) and the last part of the ride through the city was not particularly pleasant. will definitely be back for any more events that are organised.

Excellent event really enjoyed the course. The feed stops were the best I have seen and coffee and cake at the end was great. I also like the timing chips attached to the wrist.

All concerned need thanking for a great day; it was a good route with a couple of tough climbs (for me anyway) near the end. It was windy on the marsh, but then it always is!
I'm looking forward to their Autumn ride.
