Thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Two quick suggestions for further improvement, if I may:
a) encourage riders, including with signs at the event, to keep their empty gel/energy bar wrappers until they can throw them away properly. Some seemed to feel they would ride like their TdeF heroes if they tossed them into the road/hedges just like they do. Difference being we didn't have a clean-up team following behind to prevent pollution of the countryside we'd chosen to ride through.
b) I and a small group took one wrong turn. Our fault as your signage was excellent. Our mistake was to think the right turn sign applied to the road it was by rather than one a few metres further on. Giving advance warning is much better. Worth including in the briefing notes, however, that the signs will refer to action 10-20 metres down the road. Cheers

Signs to turn right should be posted on teh left hand side of the road not just the right as people go past them especially if teh road they are on is straight brilliant ride apart from that

This was my first sportive and it was a thouroughly enjoyable event. Registration was nice and easy with instructions clear at the start.
Everyone out on the course, from the marshalls, other riders to the guys manning the feed stops, were so friendly. I chatted to loads of riders and really felt part of it.
The little climb up Butser hill was a bit challenging but the food stop at the top was worth the effort. Southwick Hill at the end of the course was also a bit challenging, after 90 odd miles in the saddle the last thing my legs needed was that.
Value for money, compared with the running races that I'm used to doing, this wins hands down.
Thank you to all involved for making it a memorable occasion and I'll definately look at doing one of these again in the future.

Staff at the start and finish were excellent. The route was a happy mixture of descents and climbs. The directional markings were exceptional allowing me to concentrate on riding :)
