The roads are virtually traffic-free, despite being located close to Birmingham, and the majority of the unpaved sectors are closed to all traffic.

Great to have a different sportive like this, would have hoped to have more cobbles to ride over, but if they're not there what can you do!
Didn't feel like the end of the race was very welcoming, although did enjoy cycling around the track.
Didn't need 2 feed stops and there could have been a better choice available. Energy drinks, gels etc
Overall enjoyed the day

Only glitch on a great ride were the queues when signing in which the Organisers have acknowledged and will hopefully sort for next year. Loved the off road sections and the feed stations were well placed with some different refreshement options that were sufficent to get you round. The route was really well thought out with the cobbled sections well marked. Didn't see any mechanical support but was fortubate enough not to need it. Highly recommended for something different from the standard sportive.

For what is a truly unique event, 19 off road sections, it is sadly badly run.
Organisation was truly shambolic, from only 2 people issuing rider numbers (which were not pre-allocated), to being locked out of HQ building, no track pumps or mechanical support at feed stations (19 off road sections, there's going to be punctures - this is a shocking fail in planning). French food, coffee and champagne were advertised for finishers - champage (well close enough, prosecco) was laid on, everything else you had to pay for.
£26 for course design and a glass of fizz and no pumps at feed stations - I honestly feel robbed.
This should be a huge and epic sportif but I personally would never do another by the same organisers, sorry, as the experience should be amazing but I left feeling with more negatives in my head than the fun of the off road blasting.
