Great route on virtually traffic free roads, the feed stops were well stocked and the helpers were very friendly the tailwind section into Marlborough was great but it was paid for with the headwind section on the last leg back into Salisbury. This event would suit the 100 mile 1st timers whilst still providing a challemge for the more experienced riders.I will be back next year, and hopefully the event will have greater support.

A superb event from the organisation to the route. Sign up was straight forward via the websites and information provided by the organisers was concise but clear. The provision of numbers and timing chips at sign-on saved the headache of whether or not it would arrive in the post on time. Integrating chips into the handlebar numbers was a small yet time saving improvement on other events I have ridden. The course itself was challenging but never difficult and so would appeal to a range of rider abilities. Apart from a couple of minor hiccups the signage was perfect. The crowning glory for the organisers was locating the star/finish at a leisure centre. Other events may have more glitz to them but this scores highly for attention to practical details. A fantastic event for beginner and expert alike.

Great ride, I did the 100 miles and thoroughly enjoyed the route, there were some good hills to climb, nice downhill's, and lovely scenery to view. Roads were well chosen nice and quiet, slight issue for some riders who missed the 100m/60m split. There was great support from the Twinings Team who were very friendly, very nice goody bags and medals, post cycle tea and sandwich on return and even a massage for those who wanted one. Food stops were great, something for everyone including tea and scones!!
Overall a great days cycling in the sun :-)

Being one of a lot of people who missed the route split and ended up doing only 60 miles, this was a very disappointing day. I'm not sure how so many people missed it, whilst many didn't but it highlights the problem that signs can easily be concealed by large vehicles so multiple signage is crucial.
The organisers were very apologetic and, I believe, sent a marshall out once the problem became apparent but for quite a few of us this was too late.
It may have been useful if the maps we had been sent by email were better and highlighted the route splits so we may have anticipated them (see Wiggle Super Series or Evans Ride It for good examples).
The 60 mile route didn't have any testing climbs, mostly decent, quiet, roads but quite a bit of gravel due to the recent rain. The lack of hills and mileage meant I finished without really feeling like I'd just done a sportive. With the cost of petrol and entry being approx £60, I really feel like this was a waste of money.
The HQ facilities were a bit 'spread out' but the start/finish village was quite good. I didn't stop at the only feed stop that I passed so cannot really mark it, but we did get a sandwich at the end which was nice. The Goody Bag and medal were pretty decent too.
