Excellent signage and organization. Will come back next year for the epic course. Would love to see intermediate timing and more fruit at feed stops though.

Very well organised and well planned routes. Good signage (spray paint over potholes were a nice and helpful touch!) and free energy gels at feedstops as well as the end (for those who didn't litter their wrappers) were a bonus. If there is any constructive criticism, it would be the having to carry our bikes over a flight of stairs from the car park and over gravel.

A well sign posted ride. Shame we didn't go up the Wall in Forest Row.

Good facilities at the HQ and Feed Stops reasonably well stocked but the gap between the second and third Feed Stops was excessively long that I started wondering if I'd missed it, and was concerned that I didn't have sufficient water left.
The route was ok, though the majority of the climbing was in the final 50k of the Epic Route. I think this was due to this route, basically, having had a big additional loop chucked in the middle to make up the distance. Apart from Ditchling there probably wasn't any more climbing than the Standard Route.
My major gripe was that the Time Awards were not modified to reflect the increased length of the Epic Route; the time required was no longer consistent with the average speed required to attain Gold.

Very good ride and organization. Very usefulo to have maps via Garmin Connect so one can be prepared and enjoy during the ride. Would do again!

On the whole, fantastic day out... the course was amazing (if overwhelmingly challenging!) - whoever designed the route needs a medal, or a good slap! The staff/marshals were exceptional, very friendly and giving good instruction where required.

Only gripe would be that the spacing of the fuel stops was a little off... the first one was a bit early (could have been a bit closer to Ditchling) and the second one after Ditchling was too soon after the first so we didn't stop - big mistake. Waiting until 80 miles for the next one was a bit of a killer - had food/drink with us but it's more the psychological aspect, as the stops are good excuses to rest the legs for 5 minutes.

Not the end of the world, and didn't spoil the day! Great event, will be recommending and doing the route off our own back in the future.

Really enjoyed it and would do it again. I'm told it is better then other organisations that friends have done rides with. Thanks
