It looks like plenty of HHH regulars are returning for another crack at the course, while new sportive riders are being attracted by the HHH's friendly reputation. The HHH has no extreme gradients but overall a very considerable amount of climbing that adds up to a hard day in the saddle. It is a good late-Spring event to build into a personal calendar targeting any of the major continental sportives where there are long and steady climbs, as there are opportunities in the HHH to sustain a good rhythm while going uphill!.There are some excellent descents too (which rarely get a mention in sportive reviews), and as a bonus the Hampshire countryside in early May always looks fantastic.
