Very slick organisaton, extremely clear signage, well spaced feed stations, friendly staff, great course with some lovely coastal views and somehow they even managed to tame the weather for the day - cracking ride!

Third time round for me - this is easily my favourite sportive of the year. Excellent route in fantastic weather. Despite some testy climbs (Tyneham Hill et al) I regularly caught myself grinning away at the top given the stunning vistas that greeted you. The slight change in route to take in Swanage sea front worked really well - I hated that other gravelly farm track in previous years, and seeing the sea is always uplifting for some reason (plus I could stop and say hello to my kids who were playing omn the beach!). Brilliantly organised & signed as usual and the feedstops never let you down. Looking forward to next week in the N Downs now!

Cracking ride, was some really good climbs which suits a rider like me. Feed stations were good and all the facilities at the Tank Museum. Will defiantly do this one again

My only gripe was the lack of decent photography. There was scope for some amazing photos to be taken using a long lens camera up some of those big climbs taking in the beautiful Dorset scenery. Instead there was just a couple of photographers taking close ups of our grimacing faces. Disappointing. Otherwise a very professional event.

My first event of this kind and very well organised. Awesome route with some excellent and challenging hills. Will be looking to ride another this year. Have to agree with one poster about having a feed station at the end with recovery options. Couldn't rate the support as didn't see it/need it.

First time on an event such as this, a great route that threw in some challenging hills, stunning backdrop and better than expected weather made it even better. very well organised and I only missed one sign that added a mile or so to my ride, no big deal, the feed station was a well needed interval and very well stocked. I am tempted to try another ride but will check out the hills first!

I don't tend to stop at feed stations.. they add to the time! I would like to see a feed station at the end - that's where I need the recovery drink/fuel! The 'free' drink from the 'event' catering wasn't really appropriate for an event such as this.
I can't really comment on the support because I didn't use it.
There should be a timed 'king of the mountains' hill.
Overall the event was efficient and well organised.

This was my first Sportive. It was well organised, the route was excellent, the hill climbing painful! I will be back next year. Well done on an excellent event.

A great day out, thank you! We will all definitely be doing it again next year - I grew up in Dorset and found myself cycling today on a few routes that I had never been on before so it really was very awesome day! :)

First time attending this event and first time cycling in Dorest. The route was very tough, but the scenery/views made up for this.

Only down side for me was the food stations had too much sweet food and very little savioury. By the time we got to the 2nd and 3rd food stops, all the peanut butter sandwiches had gone, with only jam left.

The route setup was different than all other UKCE events I have done as the split for Epic/Standard was after 1 mile and usually the split is mid way through the route giving you some time to decide which route you want to take.

I'll be back next year to have another go trying to tame the Beast!

How did you arrange that weather for this spring? Challenging course but a beautiful area to cycle in and set-up to be the sportive of the year for me. Friendly & efficiently run, directions excellent. Back again next year

Second year I have ridden this event, this year was even better. The weather was glorious, the route was outstanding, the feed stops were superb and the whole event very well organised. I would thoroughly recommend this ride to anyone, very good indeed.
