excellent - no queues for drink at feedstops which can be annoying if there are. Great to have so many riders. Best yet.

A very well organised event with some great scenery. I just have one slightly negative comment and I'm probably going to get a bit of stick for it, would it be possible to have one maybe two portaloos set aside for ladies only at the feed stations please. I'm no snob but it definitely confirmed why I don't go to festivals ;-) Overall a fantastic day with what looked like some good post-cycle refreshments/entertainment. Unfortunately I was travelling to Cornwall afterwards so was unable to stay behind and join in. Thankyou to all the organisers/helpers etc. See you next year!!

Signage was a bit poor in places, fluorescent signs that can be seen from a long way away would be better. I missed a sign, went wrong and went 7 miles the wrong way. No goody bag/medal/certificate/T shirt for £35 is pretty poor. A till receipt print out only. Food was OK but again for £35 no hot food? A big cauldron of spag bol would have done. Back at HQ I was told the leisure centre was closed so no shower afterwards. Very poor. But good route, good HQ at start, good parking, great finish on the cobbles!

This was a very well organised event that took a lot of stress out of the day. One critique was that I was not aware of having to go back to HQ to collect my goodie bag and because I had no reason to go back there I missed out.

The 76 mile route was stunning, quite, with a few decent hills thrown in to climb; which is great considering Lincolnshire is mostly flat! The best part about the route though is the end. It is worth doing just for this. People line both sides of the cobbled climb banging boards, ringing cow bells, and egging you on to go faster up the hill. The support from the crowns here is amazing, the closest a lot of us are going to get to feeling like a pro cyclist! It is well worth doing and one which I am sure to complete again next year.

For this price, plus it was the 60th Championship, a small momento of finishing would have made the day. Something to look back on.

Better all round from last year, the start was well organised and route well signed. The castle finish was a great idea & kept the cobbles clear and space to sit down with your bike. I liked the exhibits and big screen, would it be possible to have a live feed to the screen from the cobbled section? Everyone very friendly and helpful through out the day, Thanks very much to everyone involved.

I enjoyed the ride, especially the climb up Michaelgate and hearing the crowds cheering. The weather made it perfect for finishing in the Castle.

I was a bit disappointed to receive one energy bar and one gel at registration, and not have any clear indication of where to fill my bottle at the start.

The start was awful, as I had booked by time to set-off only to be told when I arrived at the start point that I had to wait for the other riders doing my course, and I ended up going off 10 minutes later that I selected, so what was the point of picking a time.

A great day out on the bike, helped by the weather. The roads chosen where generally excellent - well done the Linc's councils ;-) Riding through the wolds was lovely. Fruit cake and flapjack up to usual high ITPevents standard. Could have done with some extra gels on the day though. Always a comfort to see Mike the mechanic out and about. A big thanks to the suporters who cheered us on, out in the county as well as at the finish. And what about that finish - awesome! Amazing that Lizzie A was able to blast up there on her big chainring! Finishing in the castle grounds was a great treat with the cathedral looking gorgeous in the sunlight. Definitely aim to do it again next year.

No mileage markers en route or map.
Hand out bag pointless - out of date brochure inside!
Staff at check in did not direct me to timing chip collection at other end of hall.
Staff at end of ride did not point out that drinks and food were available therefore missed out.

Generally a good day out but just not quite followed through with advertising what you had provided.

A great course, marshalled well by enthusiastic people. A bit of queuing for water at the feeds, but a very nice ride out. A fantastic finish with the climb, crowds and castle, a real smiler.
Thank you

there were a few turns in the route where route direction markers were non-existent causing confusion among riders

Weather was excellent which helps but the friendliness was exceptional. There was clear signage, no chance of going a stray.
Some roads bit gravelly but very quiet routes chosen, few cars and the final climb up the cobbles was brilliant, well marshalled and full of supporters, well done.

The whole day and ride was fantastic. Thoroughly well organised and all boxes for me on the day were ticked.
Email communication, routes, feeding stations and support staff were all superbly organised.
The highlight for me was to ride up Michealgate Hill (on the Cobbles) on the 60 anniversary of the event, just put the icing on the cake (with a cherry).
The issue of the goody bag/free products not being at the finish to me not an issue; better to be safe than sorry after cycling the whole Long route unscathed and then creaming in back on route to the main car park due to a plastic bag getting trapped in the wheel, good call by the event organiser(s).
I will be back again next year, its a must ride for any keen avid cyclist.

Great event and really well organized. Nice route with some challenging climbs and special to finish up michaelgate and into the castle grounds with support and encouragement from spectators. Obviously got lucky with the weather!

Didn't see any support, hence the 1/10. Signage was good but a bit confusing / dangerous turning across the cyclists at the Swallow checkpoint. Finishing in the castle was superb - much better than than castle square. Only improvement I'd suggest is setting people off in rough predicted time waves rather than time of choice. THANK YOU ALL FOR A SUPERB WEEKEND - Lincoln is still buzzing about it.
