Really nice ride, beautiful scenery. The recent weather made some of the roads very wet and muddy but that's just part of cycling in Britain. All of the volunteers/ staff were really friendly and supportive. Completely taken back by the main feed station, was expecting the normal sweets/ flapjacks/ bananas, instead was a huge buffet selection and the option of bacon sandwiches - the only problem was not eating so much as to make the rest of the ride unpleasant. A couple of very testing hills towards the end were a great accomplishment to finish the ride on.

Only thing that disappointed was some of the signage - if you have to put a sign up after the turning telling people they missed it, you probably didn't sign it well enough in the first place.... Many of the turns were signed at the turn and not in advance. Got lost once but no big deal - all for charity.

Looking forward to the next Action Medical Research event and will be riding this one again next year.

Disappointing. Excellent organisation and facilities let down for me by course - too much on busy b type roads; too many busy main road crossings with one bad one taking nearly 5 mins to cross. One major signing error caught a lot of people. Still , the jockeys' changing rooms at Bath racecourse were a big plus!
