The Silverdale Sling: This ride is one of three sportive rides on the same day under the banner of Wrynose or Bust and at 36 miles (58km) the Silverdale Sling is still a challenge. Following the lovely country roads through Arnside, Silverdale and the surrounding AONB district, this looped coastal circuit takes in the villages of Yealand Conyers, Silverdale, Arnside, Sandside, Milnthorpe, Whasset, Holme, Burton-in-Kendal, Priest Hutton, Borwick and finally up Sunnybank, Capernwray. As with the other two events, the start and finish is at the Halton Army camp near Lancaster.

There are no feed stations for this ride but there is one timing station, At the end of the ride, complementary food will be provided by The Rotary Club of Lancaster and Inner Wheel. Tea and coffee will also be provided.

This is a charitable fund raising event where the net proceeds of all monies raised are for the benefit of UK and other charities and projects supported by Rotary. This year we are mainly supporting Unique Kidz and Cancercare.
