Well run event with a friendliness between participants which makes for a more relaxed sportive as opposed to racing seen at other events.

A fantastic day from beginning to end. The orginisation was superb and I had no difficulties with any aspect of the logistics. A loo at the car park in Dover would have been welcome but it wasn't the end of the world to manage without it. The route was beautiful but with some challenging hills. The final one up from Wissant was a real tester and thank you to the bloke with the cow bell before the last hairpin for the ring and shout out. I'll definitely be back,

Amazing! Day trip to France to do a sportive. Great organisation, loved the Police escorts at the ferry ports. Great route and scenery!

Mostly enjoyable - marked down for lack of toilets at feed stops and the peremptory way we were told not lean our bikes against the vans - what harm can it do? Route was good, lengthy wait to get back onto the road in Dover was tedious and unnecessary (not the organiser's fault - why couldn't the authority let us out a few at a time, instead of making a big group wait until every single lorry was off the site? Police escort and closed roads to and from the ferry made it much safer and enjoyable.

Wonderful event. Enjoyed every minute of it. I was particularly impressed by the thought and effort that had obviously been put into the organisation.

Totally fantastic day! From start to finish 10 out of 10. Please do another french sportive next year and if you're feeling brave more than one.... I would sign up to them all! First sportive and with another round the corner I'm already online booking more. Thanks for all the staff and helpers and other riders, what a day!

Fantastic event - incredibly well organised considering its ambitious scale, expertly thought out route, great food stops (though the energy drink was undrinkably strong at one of them - looked like carrot juice!), beautiful weather, great atmosphere and we were treated like VIPs at the ports. Felt like a one-day holiday. I'd recommend it unreservedly - thanks very much.

Superb event, organisers to be congratulated on such a bold move. It really felt like an adventure not just another bike ride. Time for socialising on ferry was great too, as opposed to everyone just jumping in cars and heading home

Overall very good. A lot hillier than suggested in the pure-ride blurb. Only real improvement would be entrance to the car park - there were big queues (15 mins or so) to get into it, caused by staff asking for names as cars entered.

Really well organised event. Scorching hot weather laid on for us. Only negative for me was the ferry for the return journey. After waiting an age for the delayed ferry, we had one corner of the deck for all the bikes, which ended up piled on top of one another five or six deep. After being treated like royalty on the way out this let P&O ferries down. Still a great day out though.

Really well organised and goody bag was great. The roads were a little busy but we were warned about traffic on first and last stretch and no real way to avoid it. Def would like to do this one again. Thanks wiggle and UK Cycling Events

I would maybe suggest that a saturday event might be good - i would liked to have stopped in Calais or surround and had a meal at the end of it.

Excellent organisation - Friendly staff (and locals!!) - good route, plenty of hills and some lovely descents, very little traffic. Feed stations were well stocked - even if the weather meant I could have maybe done with one more for drinks. Only negatives were no toilets or showers or water available in Calais at the ferry port. At the end we were waiting for freinds to finish sat at the timing station with no water and no way to get it with out checking into the next ferry. Managed to sneak into the commercial drivers showers on the ferry so not to bad - but a couple of portaloes and some water would not have gone amiss.

BUT that is the only small negative on what was otherwise an excellent day out - UK cycling events always organise a race near flawlesly and today was no exception. Very impressive considering this was the first time they have put this on. All in all an exccelent day out. Thank you!!

Normal fantstic experience associated with wiggle sportives , amazing sight watching 400 cyclists boarding the ferry . The route was more undulating than expected very similar to dartmoor in places .

Great event. Could have done with an additional aid station on the epic route, and would have paid an extra £10 for a better medal!

Thanks guys
