Excellent event. Great organisation from start to finish. Loved all of the feedstations (espically the one at the Fishery as they had cheese on toast). Great company around the course and all of the people coming out to support the riders. Also thanks to all of the marshalls and support staff who made the event possible. Thanks for great day.

Fantastic event and so well organised. I can't wait to do it in 2013, fingers crossed I can learn to ride hills by then.

So much better than last year! Small plastic water bottles seemed a bit of a waste of resources. Proper coffee at start would have been good but brilliant event!

Absolutely love riding in Wales, even better to do it on closed roads. Really well organised event. The only thing they could do to improve would be to send our numbers etc in the post as signing on days before is inconvenient and I only live 20 miles away. Must be more so for those that live further away

A brilliant day out. Got a few bouts of cramp towards the end, proving that its a tough event, but definately be back. Thanks to the organisers for putting it on. Scenery and beautiful weather were a big help!

Fantastically organised and run event on what has got to be one of the toughest routes in the country with stunning scenery and amazing support from the locals. Etape Cymru organisers should feel extremely proud of themselves.

Had a fantastic day only my 3rd cycle event in a first year of riding, suffered with cramp from around 60 miles but made it round due to the great camaderie of the other riders and event staff. Only one word would describe this event, BRUTAL

This was my first sportive and from start to finish it was excellently organised with clear routes and foodstops every 15 or so miles were perfectly placed. The route is tough but that is as advertised and provides excellent views and challenging climbs.

Will definitely be back next year

My first closed road sportive and what a difference it made. Excellently organised with lots of signposting and loads of marshalls on junctions all helpfully pointing in addition to signs. Road surfaces were also excellent for vast majority of the 92 mile route, even considering there was a lot of back roads riding.

Well marshalled, enjoyed the closed routes. Didn't like all the plastic water bottles at the FS
