Overall well organised with a great route and I enjoyed it very much. Loved Wendover Woods and Waddesdon. Comments for the future; upgrade the food - this is an expensive event - £50 (despite it being for charity) and Tesco value range is not good enough - also my quiche was still frozen; have some chairs to sit on at the end; have the photographer put up a sign 50metres or so before his position so we can look out for him/smile/wave etc; offer lunch at the end to all riders as not everyone wants to stop en route.

Overall a good event, but could have been a lot better.
We were told at the start that due to the weather, the cool route had been reduced to 37 miles, but the road signs directed us to the original 47 mile route.
There could have been more choice than just bananas at the feed station too.
The volunteers were superb though, very friendly and enthusiastic - despite the weather!

While I quite enjoyed the day (it was fairly local so I knew some of the route) the feedstations were disappointing, especially as there was no energy drink at either and I hadn't brought sachets with me. The first half of the route was good and but the second half was disappointing, on some quite shoddy roads (and I know there are better in the area).

High points for the event were the website and the staff, both excellent.

The ride was perfectly fine. However, I feel that the profile wasn't demanding enough and there were too many major A-road sections. As so much of the ride was on major connecting roads between villages there were a huge amount of poor road surfaces due to previous road works.
I have ridden around 30 sportives now and the best ones are those which keep to the smoother-surfaced, minor roads and include a more demanding profile.

Very well organised event. My first 100km sportive (is infact a 110km route which you find outat the start line. First 70km of route we great particularly the first few km in the grounds, bit of a bland patch after that before a nice finish.
Registration was slick, lunch stop was great with lots of food and lots of choice.Support staff were all very good and very helpful

This is an excellent event and I really can't fault it. I did the Dragon Ride earlier this year and this evetn put that into the shade! Overall I would rush back to ride this event again in the future.
