What a splendid day out, great scenery (despite the rain and low cloud), and a very pleasant route. The climbs are iconic, but not especially technical or difficult. And the signage was probably the best I have experienced. Feed station fare was a little basic but I had enough nutrition with me for this not to affect my ride in any way. Great organisation made it thoroughly enjoyable.

In 2011 the orgainisers had to change the route to accommodate the poor road conditions round Loch Katrine, but the course was a great challenge none the less. The organisers are friendly and very helpful and the food stops are very well stocked (the jelly beans really help in getting up Crow Road). A really worth while event to do. Add it to you years goals...
