I think the gap between the 1st and 2nd feed stations (just over 30 miles) was a bit far considering the amount of climbing required - I ran out of water (and energy) and was running on empty for a while. That said, I was one of the slower riders (I'm quite new to distance cycling), so perhaps I just needed to be better prepared.

Overall I really enjoyed myself - I shall definitely sign up for next year's event!

Food Totally Brilliant.Loads Of It As On Every Action Ride And All The Right Stuff...Pasta, Cake, Nuts Etc. Route Both Picturesque And Demanding With A Really Steep Climb At 75 Miles That Made The Day. Can't Wait To Do It Again!
