Brilliant event but could be made even better with energy drinks at the feed stations, real ale at the campsite (not just dodgy Kroney) and porridge at breakfast, a man cannot ride on cornflakes alone! I'm being pedantic though as overall it was a fantastic event, which I would thoroughly recommend.

This was a really well organised event and a fantastic experience; you can find any number of sportives that will give you the miles but what lifted this above the rest was 2 days of great riding and, with the overnight camping, the chance to do something different. The route was well designed and took us through some amazing riding country with some killer hills at the most challenging point on day 1 and a brutal (but thoroughly enjoyable) day 2 - I made it 192 miles overall. I'd love to do it next year.

Very professionally organised by Threshold. getting to the start by public transport is a bit of a challenge. Overnight stop at Windsor race course is really good location / facilities.

Loved the course, it showed me new bits of Surrey and the lap of the velodrome was cool. Have already registered interest for 2013. If you're a keen cyclist this is a super 2 day event.

Very well organised event with friendly attentive staff and a great crowd. Brilliant atmosphere. If i had to be very picky..the only thing that would make it better is less of the city route and more country.

Great experience, coming from the wilds of Scotland could have done with a bit more information up front to aid with planning. Did feel it was geared more to the competitive cycling club mentality which will discourage some.

I thought that overall the event was outstanding. As it was the first one, I think there were a few teething issues - 20 showers for however many people were camping at Windsor was simply not enough, we didnt get a massage either because they ran out of slots so need to schedule them more effectively next time. 4 portaloos at the pit stops was ,again, nowhere near enough and we lost a lot of time queuing for loos at most of the stops. I think that the offer of 'proper' food at the pit stops would have been great, I was personally sick of flapjack, biscuits and bananas (yes, really!)

I think the second half of the second day was particularly tough with all the hills that it involved and I felt that the 'more that was in me' had really expired by then. I appreciate that the planners were limited with the route in order for it to fulfil the 'Revolution' of London theme but my goodness, the second half of Sunday had me thinking 'I am never doing this again'! Now, the pain has subsided and my energy levels have recovered, I have resolved to just get fitter for next time :) All in all, a fabulous event with fantastic people and the Threshold helpers and staff were AMAZING - total respect to them all for being super friendly, encouraging and efficient.

perfect! absolutely enjoyed it! only thing that could be improved are the vegan options when it comes to food for the overnight riders. There wasn't really much to eat for a vegan at the end of a 100 mile ride!

I've been on a few sportifs and this was extremely well organised, the crews knowledgable and friendly from signing up through completion of the event. Support was always available. The route was thrilling and clearly marked. The accommodations were excellent. The sponsors were amazing. I can't wait to do it again next year.

Having never riden that sort of distance before, it was a real challenge I'd set myself and I'm so glad I did.
From the moment we arrived at Docklands, everything was taken care of for us. The orginisation was superb and the staff were outstanding.
The ride itself was awesome, some of the most beautiful parts of the UK I've ever riden and some killer hills to contend with.
I would happily recomend this event to anyone as i thoroughly enjoyed it.
The only thing i would have added (and I know it's a bit cheesy) would be a medal at the finish line...I felt like I deserved one :)
