The 70 mile route includes the Buttertubs climb featured on the first day of the Tour de France stage in Yorkshire and is extremely challenging with over 5400 ft (2,000m) of ascent and a hilly or undulating route along the way.
The shorter 30 mile ride heads along Garsdale from Sedbergh towards Kirkby Stephen and back to Sedbergh along the valley.
