Needs a bit more thought when placing route markers.

Very enjoyable experience overall. Friendly support and fellow riders, good route.
Signage needs to improve - I downloaded the GPX, the route card ( didn't use ) and had key points taped to top tube. Without this prep, the signage would have been inadequate and in places seemed non-existent ( Warford ) and pointed several stationary and confused riders in right direction.
Great to have hot drinks and food available though bit more variety of real food would be great.

I said I wouldn't enter this event again ,but there I was on the start line last Sunday! I like the route , a perfect early leg stretcher before moving onto tougher rides, but I really think it falls short on value for money! The toilet facilities at the start are really poor just 3 wc's available (male), between 400+ riders (I would guess?) Lack of marshalls at key points, signage was a bit his and miss and just one feed station. Having done it before I had a good idea where I was going on the 80 mile route, but spoke to a number of riders on the 50 mile route who had obviously missed a sign or been misdirected and who had only done a few miles less than me when we reached the feed stop at 44/45 miles. I'll probably try harder to give this a miss next year!

not a patch on other sportives (Evans/wiggle Kilo to go)but far more expensive. Toilet situation was very poor. Signage wasn't great only one marshal at first spilt then no others. People stopping to ask which route they were on. As the weather was so cold I would have thought hot drink at the feed stop of which there was only one on an 80 mile route???. Overall very poor. Good job Cheshire is so beautiful

Pleasant route through lovely countryside, but... Signage was poor in places, and the downloaded map I printed off did NOT correlate with the Strava download, nor were there any signs on that part of the course. As a result we lost considerable time route-checking and getting back on track. We set off toward the back of the field, and though we achieved gold standard, by the time we reached the feed station it seemed like there was little left (we were far from last out on the course). A bit more variety in what was on offer at the finish too would have been nice. Shame because it should be a great event, but organisationally needs some work.

Not a great Event. Signs were poor. Key 50 / 80 mile markers werent positioned. No marshalls at key 30/50/80 junctions. my group ended up cycling for 64 miles rather than the 50 planned. Wont be doing this one again.
