Superbly organised and great value for money. Took in some of the best routes and scenery in the region. Always seems strange going down chedder gorge and not up, but the hill to get up to the top of chedder... tougher than going up the gorge itself!

GPS route was different to the signposted route on more than a handful of occasions, causing me to slow and be concerned that I was on the correct route. Missed final food stop on route - knew roughly that it should have been coming up but saw no signs for it at all. Would consider riding again, but wouldn't be too fussed missing next year - not the best sportive, but still good.

Excellent, spacing of the manned feed stations not perfect for the 100 milers, although I know it's difficult with the two distances.

enjoyed trhe ride, helped by the good weather. venue was easy to find but thought there could be a little more with regards to the event village. The day was slightly spoilt by the thoughtlessness of some individuals. do they find it amusing to move route matkers., or are they simply pathetic people?

this was a great course signage was 99% a couple of late sign when at speed, staff were very helpful this was 3rd black rat and its getting better each year, a friend had a mechanical and was picked up straight away and taken back to the school can`t say fairer than that.
as for some of the comments posted these people are not welcome and should ride on there own, it should be a fun day out you dont get much for £25 these days.
thanks guys see you next year.

Very tough - especially first 27 miles!! But very enjoyable. Feed Station at Bad Ass was a little bare - some more variety on food needed? Water was low. Pity about the heavy traffic near Axebridge - so noisy and dangerous after the quiet country lanes. That aside, my brother and I greatly enjoyed it and the weather was perfect..

Failed to achieve my target time thanks to sign tampering which added another 4 miles overall. Will beat it next year though!

My first 100 mile event went well. Slow and steady got me through it as well as plenty of food and liquids. Only had to walk partways up the worst climb! Well run, friendly organisers and mostly well sign posted. My husband was able to follow the 100km route in his car using only the course markings. Of course, I was on the 100 mile route...

Not helped by people trying to spoil it by moving signs (from people old enough to know better but pathetic enough to go and interrupt other peoples days). Other than that it was great.

I had a bit of a fall before the second feed stop and cut my thumb open. There was no first aid kit at the station which was a bit disappointing. However didn't ruin my day at all.

Great route, friendly and well-organised crew, only let down was some poor signage. Some of the slow signs were badly placed (after the apex of a tight bend) and some of the direction arrows were hard to spot (this is in addition to one being moved by a saboteur, which could happen anywhere); otherwise it was an excellent day out.
