A wonderful and memorable ride out, starting with fast and efficient entry, great comms leading up to the event, useful links etc and freindly helpful and supportive organisers and helpers. It was another outstanding ride in fantastic countryside, great mix of hills and rolling roads, clear signage, freindly riders, and well stocked food stations at great positions along the course. Legs feel in good shape the day after, largely helped by the splendid work of one of the massage ladies at the end! Just hoping I can get into next years event again.

A brilliant day, very friendly people at start and feed stations, great marshalling and warning signs, great atmosphere, esp at the top of the Uffington White Horse Hill climb

Excellent event and would recommend it to anyone. As a novice cyclist, I found the course challenging but rewarding. Its well organized, the refreshment stations had top nosh (banana cakes were to die for) and roads were quiet.

This is a top sportive. Compared to other sportives I've ridden this is by far the best organised. I still cannot believe the registration took a matter of seconds when other sportives have entailed waiting 10 or 20 mins to sign in.

The course was excellent with a superb choice of roads.

I'd definitely recommend this sportive and I'm aleady looking forward to WHC 2014.

The WHC has a much friendlier atmosphere compared to the 'big' events organised by the likes of Wiggle. Its well organised and the route is superb, challenging and scenic. And the weather's always been perfect. This is the only Sportive I do every year as its one of the best and raises money for a good cause.

Third time I've done the White Horse Challenge, I've only been cycling for 3 years but I've completed quite a few sportives now, this is the best, I'll be back next year, if I can get in. Thanks guys. Regards Neil Goosey

Great ride around some brilliant scenery. Plenty of flat roads to get your speed up but a few viscious hills thrown in for good measure.

My first sportive. Clearly the bar is set very high for others I will do elsewhere. Looking forward to the WHC 2014.

Great ride ,very friendly and professional organisation and you even got the sun shinning too. Beautiful scenery and the added pressure of a timed hill on the 82nd mile made this a ride to remember. Only a tiny gripe could do with a few more loos.
Would definitely recommend this ride. Well done!

All these comments ring true. Only my second Challenge, but the general happy atmosphere, and the friendly and excellent organisation, make it stand out from others as a properly brilliant sportive. Only comments might be "can we have some cold savoury food (i.e. pizza slices) as well as your yummy cakes?" and "some electrolyte?". But that's no complaint. Many thanks indeed.

fabulous ofthe best. Just need to improve the parking and changing facilities. riders also need to be reminded not to drop litter around route; there were lots of gel packets on the road side.

Excellent course, great ride for this early in season. Good facilities - easy and quick sign-on, simple timing strap. Great atmosphere at start and finish. I really appreciated well-wishers at finish and some on the route. Would like there to be high electrolyte replacement food/drink available at feed stops. Few more toilets at HQ? Otherwise, a brilliant day - thanks to organisers.

1st time i have done 'the challenge'. Great ride, beautiful scenery, nice weather, well organised event. Only saw 3 white horses! ( probably too focused on the hills to be able to look around at the views!!) will be back next year to try and spot the others....

WHC is simply one of the best Sportifs in the UK. I have ridden maybe 25. In terms of all the fundamentals it is streets ahead of those organised by the big grps such as Wiggle

This is a top sportive. The route is challenging without being a complete suffer fest! The scenery is superb and the weather even seems to do its best every year to make the experience a pleasurable one. The whole team really are a credit - always polite and friendly and to be applauded as you cross the finish line is above and beyond the call of duty. Fergal you are a legend! I hope you continue to retain your enthusiasm to organise the event, I will certainly enter again (6th time and counting) next year!
