Superbly organised like every Open Cycling event that I have been involved with. I have specially like the free access to photos after the event unlike most other events I have rides where you are charged high prices for the photos.

Great event, well organised, friendly and challenging. Folks at the feed stations were helpful and the variety of food on offer was the best I have ever had at an event.
I would recommend this event to anyone wanting something different to the usual sportive experience

Superbly organised sportive especially given the distance. Only issues were dressing appropriately given the wide range of temperatures experienced over 13 hours of riding across Wales and carrying enough energy gels as not the biggest fan of sandwiches etc on a Sportive. Still looking forward to next year though!

Brilliant event and look forward to next year - why not make it 200 miles though not necessarily more hills though :-)

Very enjoyable and challenging day. Ambitious to take on organisation of point to point Sportive on this scale - well done on pulling it off. Brilliant weather helped - could be a real survival exercise if conditions adverse and with relatively short daylight - tracker devices, an excellent innovation. Engagement with local communities at HQ, feed stations etc great
- and some lovely halls & premises.
Thanks for putting the event on :-)

A fantastic route, made even more stunning by the unusual sunshine. A lot of climbing, so make sure you've trained well! Feed stops well spaced, but would have been better with a little more variety and maybe some more hot food options. Overall a great event and really well organised.

I can honestly say I had a fantastic time on the ride and this was down to the team and experience of the open cycling group, well done.
Good communication from start to finish, well done.

Wales in a day and C2C in a day are rhe best organized, friendliest rides of all the rides I have done in the UK. Superb organization, amazing feedstations, well sign posted without being Nannyish. And somehow you managed to pick the best weather too! Wales in a day was the first time I had bicycle issues, but the chaperones were extremely helpful (and the other riders were as helpfull). Great work, can't wait for (a bit of) Scotland in a day :-)

I will happily pay twice as much for amy of your events in the future. Thank you for making these rides possible

Wales In A Day event was a big challenge for me both mentally and physically but made all the more enjoyable by words of encouragement throughout the day by a smashing team of event support on route. I really cannot rate it highly enough, the team put together a stunning route which combined with great food and staff at the feed stations helped keep me going all the way to the finish line...... Hope to do it again in 2016.

the only thing i would have changed was the end acomidation, in the hall where the bikes and bags were keeped with people coming and going all night wasnt what i wanted after a big ride. everythiong eles was well thought though the feed stops were good could have done with a few bars to take with you top get to next feed stop.
what an amazing day well worth it

Brilliant, brilliant day, amazing scenery and views, hardest hills I have ever climbed. Helpful support team, well organised and felt safer with the tag system. Would recommend this event, even though I wouldn't do it again, once in a lifetime ride for me but will definitely sign up for another Open Cycling event.

This event was simply amazing I'd not attended an event organised by open cycling before but certainly will again. My only comment would be the emails coming out in the last week were leaving me feeling extremely nervous about my ability to complete the event. I had trained but I felt there was a certain amount of negativity to them which when youre trying to mentally prepare for such an event, to me as important as physically training for it, I found quite destructive. Threshold sports motto is there is more within you and they are always trying to help you believe you can do it. Your staff, assistants and helpers on the day did just that on the day but it took me many many miles to believe it.
But the event is amazing I am so very proud I completed it a little slower than expected but the exceptionally cold start coming off llanberis pass took some time to warm up. Stunning scenery, wonderful safe route best sportive I've taken part in. Well done to everyone. Coast to coast next but as its full for next year which is a shame as I was going to do it for my 50th birthday it'll have to be 2017. One final thing I heard about this through a friend on FB quite by chance. I take a couple of cycling magazines but had never seen it advertised. But then maybe you don't need to if your events fill up so quickly

Fantastic route, and we were blessed with great weather. Very tough hilly course, beautiful scenery. It was well organised, only downside for me was the bus went from Chepstow to Caernarfon on the M5, taking 6.5 hours.
Met with john from open cycling, top bloke.
Will definately be doing it again next year. ( without the bus transfer)

Only down side was lack of a broom wagon - didn't affect me - this was the very best , friendliest sportive I have been on. Staff were so caring and friendly. Well organised. Food and mechanical help on each food stop. Some riders rode with us and gave support on the road. Tracking system was fine.

Absolutely brilliant event!
