An absolutely brilliant event, great atmosphere, price included 3 days camping and entertainment including outdoor cinema. Only let down was the toilet facilities

Awesome. Just need to sort the signage, not leader because people are so used to GPS!

A great event for the nostalgic, the weather undoubtedly added to the enjoyment and perhaps if held in wet weather it might present a few issues with safety on some of the trails or roads, but I'd certainly do it again

Fantastic route, apart from the decent to High Peak Junction; beautiful country side ranks along side the Italian version; poor signage and a web site the values style over the ability to present succinct information. Special mention must be made of the wonderful people and village of Hartington, one of the best feed stops ever! Assuming they sort out the teething problems I suspect it will become a classic

A fullfledged, superb quality event, that has hit the ground running and delivered a supreme ride and festival in its first year. Every aspect of this as an entire experience was brilliant. Even the fact that the feed stations didn't have energy drinks and gels, but tea, beer, pimms, potted meat sandwiches, flap jacks, cream teas and even breakfast, meant that this was setting an heroic atmosphere in every way. Over 2,000 riders and 25,000 festival visitors - they showed how to run a County Show, a Folk Festival, a Classic/Vintage bike rally and a yersteryear sportive all at once!

Difficult to rate compared to sportives etc. A wonderful event and festival. A lot more could have been done with the food with local produce. It may have been 'period' but there was outstanding food available - even pre 1987! The toilet facilities on the course were average but those on the festival site were woefully inadequate and soon became overwhelmed.

The organisers did a a stupendous job, this event required imagination and a big gamble. Their imagination created something that deserves to become "the vintage" cycle event in the UK if not Northern Europe, the "Goodwood Revival" of vintage velos. It was so was stylish, friendly and in an area of outstanding natural beauty, even my teenage daughter and her mates loved it.
