Huge thanks to all the organisers, marshalls and other helpers for a fantastic day, their time and effort was really appreciated and made for a great day. As 2 mountain bikers this was our first outing on the road and we enjoyed every minute of it- even the uphills and were pleasantly surprised to make it to the finish in good time!

A year ago I was the only person cycling to work; a wild suggestion, some friendly banter, a few egos and some pride later seven of us made it to the finish on Sunday- 3 in the 100m and 4 in the 65m. These days the bike shed's regularly overflowing so good job at giving them all the kick up the ass needed to get out their cars and onto 2 wheels!

My 2nd time riding the 100km route, last minute diversion was a killer but good. Still alot of gel wrappers being dropped. A few riders not taking care on descents and putting themselves and other riders at risk.
Over all another excellent and well organised event, thank-you! :-)

Good support all the way - the mechanics at Princetown got the bike going and enabled me to finish the ride. They were even extremely polite when the lack of servicing in the recent past was obvious! A great ride once again and the change to the route was seemless at such short notice. Well done everyone at MDCC and I hope to be back next year.

As always this is one of the best organised best marshalled rides that I do. I love the scenery and the route. I find the last 15 miles or so quite thrilling as you have completed all the hills and it is almost all downhill to the finish and you can give all you've got. A great way to complete a ride. I have done this ride for three years now and will probably be back again next year.

Overall a fantastic event but once again the big problem was parking - I arrived in the first wave of cars before 7 and was sent to a distant car park where there were no signs or marshalls and we drove around in circles near a clay pit trying to figure out what to do. Guys please sort something out for next year - it was almost as bad in 2011 but my experience this year was by far the worst yet. On a more positive note, my favourite things about the Dartmoor Classic are Dartmoor and the marshalls, who seem to have been selected for their wit, charm and good humour. Great job with the feed station this year too. Fantastic food.

Great event as usual. Two points to note:

1. I didn't think how the timing at the feed stations worked was especially clear. ie I didn't think the first 8 minutes of your stop counted in your overall time, so I thought I had a gold medal, when in fact my time was just outside the cut off.

2. I didn't think increasing the numbers riding the event this year worked well. The roads were extremely busy around lunchtime, with slower 100km riders causing a lot of congestion, holding up vehicle traffic and generally not displaying the road awareness you would expect of experienced riders.

Really enjoyed classic, third time 100k (got first medal!) and great to see that it continues to grow however without losing that personal touch all marshals guides helpers so positive cheerful and friendly. Amazing to see how well dealt with storm damage and re routed seamlessly (right past my house!) I know Devon roads can be a tad tight but that's a joy of rural country living. Well done to all the organisers and supporters. Hope the injured cyclists are making speedy recovery. Thanks Tim

Only minor gripes that directions for finding the venue are poor - got lost second year running - and a shame I had to park a considerable distance from the start/finish. Otherwise a great day.
