Great day out, Hard going: but good feeling at the end. Did not expect saddle bag etc so that was a bonus.
Thanks Mike

Overall I still enjoyed the event even though I didnt finish I even did a bit of marshalling at the diversion point with a very interesting chap I think he was called Ken whilst he helped a very attractive female rider with a puncture, he was even giving free coaching advise to riders who were selecting the wrong gears.

I've ridden a lot of sportives. This is the best in terms of organisation a overall day out. It's hard to comment on the course as its my home roads so I am bias. However , it's challenging, stunning scenery and has a great relatively flat last 10 so you can really finish with a blast rather than a grind like on some events. The kids bike section was also a hit. Well done MDCC. You did Devon proud.

Fantastic event - great day with lots of hard work from dedicated people. Could we get feed stop times too next year - 1st leg, feed stop, 2nd leg?
Well done all

A really tough ride for early starters ... lots of 100m riders (like myself) were battered by hostile winds and opted to revert to the 100km route after the feed stop / timing check (35 miles round)
Lots of very treacherous wet cattle grids on the course where may came a-cropper (some pretty nasty injuries incurred by some)
This is NOT a sportive for the faint hearted (even the 100km route had more than 7100ft of climbing)
All in all, a great event with fantastic organisation - well done to Mid Devon CC who organised the event and for all the support sponsors etc

Fantastic course, feed stations were superb - streets ahead of Cheshire Cat, Tour of Peak and Shakespeare 100. Flapjacks with jam & icing delicious - can I mail order?

Brilliant event again. Fourth time ridden and the organisation and work that goes into making this sportive is exceptional. Must be one of the best in the UK now. Highly recommended

Excellent organisation - great day

(perhaps the guy on the public address system at the finish could ease up a little,
would prefer to listen to the band)

Once again another excellent day from he Dartmoor classic team. Has to be the best event of the year ( I may be biased as I am local). A big thank to everyone involved

Parking and main event field worked well. Was a bit concerned beforehand about parking the bike and leaving it but seemed ok on the day.
Really enjoyed the ride, particularly the fast rolling Princetown back to Newton Abbot.
Thought the overall 100k route was really well planned with the hard climbs in the first half and the rolling fast bits then helped to lift the spirit.
Entered the 100m version a few years back (anticlockwise route) and felt it was spoiled by the very steep climbs after 70m in the legs.
May be worth emphasizing/introducing passing protocols - quite a bit of reckless overtaking from every direction without calling.
Will enter again for sure.
Thanx for all the hard work everyone.
Oh - sorry fella, but perhaps consider a more uplifting commentry -

Overall, fantastic event. Perhaps larger station area in Princetown if feasible but very well organised in what little space there was.
Many thanks - we'll return for sure

Having ridden 3 other sportives before run by a certain charity one of which I did
last year and crashed breaking a femur and collar bone I vowed I would not do one
again without marshal support.
I rode the 106 mile route and found the signage and marshelling first class. The food
stops of 2 were just right the only thing missing was energy bars. The volunteers
were first class on the course and at registration on the Saturday
The only thing I would introduce is to have a secure bike storage after the event
like they do at triathlon races . I was very nervous at leaving my bike at the end
whilst I picked up my finish time slip and awards
2011 limping around on crutches for some of it I am very pleased
This is the standard all sportives should be but sadly the majority are run by
charities who havent got any idea of running an event like this
Best regards
