Rating: 89.8% based on 15 reviews - Rate this Event Now

This brand new 65-mile cycle challenge takes in part of the official Tour de France 2014 route, including the ascent of the iconic Holme Moss. You'll ride through beautiful Pennine countryside, with a number of steady climbs throughout but don't be deceived, just like anything from South Yorkshire, it's hard as nails! There's an alternative shorter 46-mile route which is still a worthy challenge for any cyclist.
Jointly organised by Cystic Fibrosis Trust and charity cycling Team Cystic Fibrosis, a group of keen amateur cyclists whose aim is to help raise awareness of cystic fibrosis and fundraise for the Trust.
Some riders will do the route in five hours, some will take all day. It isn't a race, it's a fun ride on two wheels and open to any competent cyclist, minimum age 12 years. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times throughout the event.

  • Ride starts and finishes at Magna, Science Adventure Centre, Sheffield Road, Rotherham, S60 1DX.
  • Registration opens at 8:00am.  All participants will receive a drink, energy bar, route map and arm band upon registration.
  • Ride starts 9:00 am
  • We ask you to car-share where possible to ease parking and help the environment.
