This was an amazing ride I would recommend it although having completed the challenge I have other challenges to aspire to before returning to ride it again.
The route was well signed and I only doubted I was on the route a couple of times over the whole distance. Other riders where friendly and so where the support crew making it a very special event and one to remember.

Fantastic event, great organisation, the only thing I would like to see changed would be to allow riders who completed the event one year to be allowed an opportunity to enter the next years ride ahead of other entries, even if it was only 24 hours I think loyalty should be rewarded.

This is the second time that I have completed the C2C and both times have been excellent. Rarely do I return to a sportive as I try to attempt a variety but this is the one that is very endearing with superb logistic that take away the stress of the day and allow me to focus on the ride. The feed stations are placed at the right locations and far enough apart make sure that riders are energized for the next section. I will be looking to ride it for a 3rd time next year.
Maybe the opportunity to buy some merchandise such as a cycling jersey with the C2C logo, date and maybe the profile on it would be a wonderful memento (like the Fred Whitton one) or other merchandise. It would sell in seconds.

Fantastic event and well organised. Only suggested improvement is to not over dilute the Gaterade. Was great at early stops, but tasted weak at later stops. Impacted energy levels later.

What a fantastic ride - from start to finish it did what it said it was going to do - 'be a tough challenge'. You certainly need to have prepared for it as the hills just keep coming with some of the hardest in the last 20 miles. The staff at all the feed stations were fantastic and supportive and plenty to eat - the problem was trying to swallow!!
Great event to do - only fault - The wind was blowing from the East.

A wonderful ride, good signposting and all the support provided made it a memorable event. I have undertaken many endurance challenges, this must rate as one of the best and I hope to be back next year. In addition the medal provided matched the event, it was quality and will serve as a reminder of the day. Sorry I only gave the sag waggon and outriders a one, but I didnt need or see them, thanks for keeping everyone safe.

Good event that has challenging riding....hills and distance.

No out riders for any unforeseen mechanicals......this would bring the rating up to perfect. A couple of shimano mech motorbikes would make this a 10/10 event.

What a brilliant day. Well done to all concerned. The finish was a bit confusing, but that may have been down to my delirium!!! Possibly a big sign saying 200 yards, turn left off the road, to finish, (unless I missed it) and I didn't find the changing facilities there either. I would have loved to have been able to put a whole banana, and not a soggy half, in my pocket, to eat en route at my leisure. Overall though, magnificent.

Brilliant event. Lovely staff and excellent signage. Didn't feel lost once. I have a mechanical before the first stop and the cycle shop in Kendal was a real relief, and very helpful. However, I don't think I saw anyone else at the other stops who could help out with problems. With a ride of that length, I think that some form of mechanic at each stop would have been sensible, even if it was just someone with a track pump, a stand, some tools and the ability to help out. Otherwise it was epic
