Fantastic event, very well run. Course demanding in excellent quiet countryside. Signs and marshals excellent. Feed station looked fab, may even stop at it next year! Great rolling mass start through Hawick. Sign on at start hassle free and easy. Food at the end very welcome. Only improvements and really minor issues in the grand scheme of an excellent event are could perhaps use electronic timing and I like to see before an event who else is riding, so an entry list would be good. Thoroughly recommend this though, one of the best.

Great event, services, route and companionship! Over and above that we raised £700+ for Katie McKerracher Trust - huge thanks to Hawick Cycle Club! Fantastic bunch of people!

Superb event run on very quiet roads. Brilliant having a massed start and a nice touch to have your name announced over the tannoy as you finished. Shame about the slight hiccup with timing.

Just the best course - and the borders is where I do all my cycling, didn't need the low gears of the radar ride. Nice touch to ride out neutralised through Hawick and then having sorted out where you wanted to be in the bunch, to start turning the pace up. Just wished I had finished it...

2008 we had sunshine but 2009 the rain started 2 minutes before the organiser said 'GO' and didn't stop - varying degrees of rain from fine mist to (frequently) bouncing torrential stuff followed for the whole ride - makes for quite a challenge with the open country. Superb food stops that you don't want to leave and quite possibly the friendliest Sportive on the calendar - will be back again next year. Many thanks to all involved.

Favorite event after the bealach although comes very close due to testing and scenic course, excellent signage. Pity the road/rivers slowed the descents! Thanks to my group for sharing the wind and a laugh...

Great day. For £25 it was a bargin! Food, T-shirt medal, photo etc..This for me is what all sportives should be offering.
