My first sportive and what a great day. The event was very well organised and the scenery was amazing. Some of the climbs were brutal but only increases the sense of accomplishment at the end. The pork pies at the feed station are a good enough reason to bring me back next year.

although ive been racing bikes for years a friend entered me into this event my cyclo cross season finished in january so thought this would be a good way to start my summer training ,i must say well done to the organisers for a perfect event , i am the worst person in the world for getting lost and cant read a map so the map provided was left in my car , the course was so well marked there was no need for a map i am sure this event will get bigger and bigger ,one of the best days ive ever spent on a bike

The whole experience was great hence my good rating and being lucky to live in the area all my life, I saw far more due to the fantastic weather after the misty start and it was just great fun but hard, which is what I need......
