Etape Loch Ness is an exciting closed road cycle sportive starting and finishing in the Highland capital, Inverness.
The 67 mile course takes riders around the stunning shores of iconic Loch Ness providing a challenging ride with spectacular views.
With 900m of ascent throughout the 67 mile course, the route is on closed roads. (nb: there are two sections of the route that are left hand lane closure only)

During Etape Loch Ness there will be a special timed King of the Mountain climb of the hill coming out of Fort Augustus. This will be your chance to test yourself against all other Etape Loch Ness riders.
The event is open to cyclists aged 18 years and over on the day of the event.
Safety is our priority, unconventional handlebars are not permitted and approved cycle helmets are compulsory.
The 67-mile / 107-km timed cycle challenge will start and finish in central Inverness. The pre-determined and fully signed route leaves Inverness and follows the A82 west to Fort Augustus, passing through the villages of Drumnadrochit and Invermoriston, arriving in Fort Augustus where it crosses the historic Caledonian Canal. The route then starts its return journey to Inverness via South Loch Ness on the B862/B852.
