Welcome to the Broken Spoke 2021. What are you doing on Sunday 23 May2012? Do you want a challenge with great support?
The Broken Spoke Sportive is a cycling challenge running through the stunning scenery of Cheshire, Shropshire and north Wales. Participants have 2 routes to choose from; 85miles and 55miles. Both routes offer a serious challenge and feature epic routes. So whats different about our event? well first of all all proceeds go to our school - we have charitable status. We also aim to provide the best support to ensure you have the best day possible - Including a mass start with motorcycle outriders

We have ample parking for 130 vehicles + 34 acres of field should we need more space
A dining hall seating 196 at any one time
Showers and changing facilities
Two feed stations for the long route
Stop 1 - tea/juice and cake
Stop 2 - beans on toast - The Shorter route goes directly to Stop 2
A pot of pasta on you return back to the HQ
All the above is included in your entry fee.
The longer route follows a fairly flat spin out from Chester to St Martins for the first stop before crossing the Welsh border and heading in to the hills, crossing to Llangollen, over the Horseshoe Pass then on to Ruthin for the second feed stop. At this point both routes will meet up before returning to Chester via a sepctacular climb and quiet lanes of north Wales.
LONG ROUTE  - 85Miles
SHORT ROUTE - 55Miles
HQ opens at 0800hrs
