Previous Years Rating: 93.5% based on 35 reviews

Firmly established as one of cyclo-sportives 'must-do' events, and a true classic in every sense of the word.

This sell-out 1000 rider event aims to provide a challenging day out through some of the most spectacular Yorkshire Dales scenery....taking in some of its classic climbs!; including Norwood Edge, Fleet Moss & The Coal Road.

With three routes to choose from, the event provides for differing levels of ability and experience. The event headquarters will be the fantastic new facility at Ilkley Rugby Club at the edge of Ilkley, providing changing and showering facilities, ample parking, food and drink.

This year's event helps kickoff of a week-long festival of cycling in Ilkley celebrating the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart.

Camping is available for those travelling from further afield. This is therefore an ideal opportunity to enjoy a UK cycling holiday of a lifetime, kicking off with a sportive, taking advantage of local club rides and activities during the week and being in prime position to see the Le Tour pass through the following weekend.
