Starting in Lancashire, this brand new ride for 2011 offers you the option of cycling a challenging route over 100mile or 100km distances. The 100-mile ride will take you on a tough, circular route over the Pennines into the Yorkshire Dales and southern Cumbria and then back across the Lancashire Moors, with the 100km route missing out Cumbria.

Riders on the Cross Pennine 100 will cycle a hilly course, through some of the north of England's most beautiful scenery, with fantastic views, including Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough Hill, with the 100-mile route also taking in the Ribblehead Viaduct.
