The Surrey Rumble
06/03/2011 - Downside, near Cobham, SurreyTwickenham CC are running the 4th edition of The Surrey Rumble Cyclosportive. Riders have a choice of either a 59 or 78 mile circular route through the lovely Surrey countryside, starting at Downside, just outside Cobham. The terrain is mainly rural and rolling, with a couple of moderate hills thrown in for good measure to help keep those legs on their toes.

06/03/2011 - North WorcestershireA warm-up event for the 2011 summer calendar. We have kept the distance to a manageable 114km over a generally flat and fast route that touches the Cotswolds. It would not be a Sportive without a bit of a test of your mettle, so were taking you up Dovers Hilll in the first half. Not a leg-breaker but certainly hard enough to have you all clambering for the big sprockets! Throw in a feed station and hot food and drink at the finish, its the perfect recipe for a standout Sportive of 2011...and all...

Climb-On-Bike CC Spring Challenge Ride
06/03/2011 - HerefordThe Event is staged from Holme Lacy Village Hall (post code HR2 6LP) in Holme Lacy which is about 5 miles Southeast of Hereford. Signing on starts from 8am, £5 Entry fee (£1 of this will be donated to St Michaels Hospice which is our nominated charity for 2011). Two distances are on offer and both routes will be fully sign marked to ensure a hassle free ride. Train In Spain Base Camp
06/03/2011 - Costa Brava, SpainAre you tired of salt and grit sticking to your bike? Bored of sitting on the turbo and staring at the garage walls? Had enough of the darkness? Then it's time to head to Train in Spain! March 6th-13th. This week will kick start your training programme and raise your fitness level by getting you out in the fresh air and sunshine for 4+ hours a day. The tempo will be steady to increase aerobic fitness and to help burn any excess pounds you might be carrying.
